Abstract

This research assessed the On-the-Job Training (OJT) activities of Criminology Graduates in the attainment of Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) within the College of Criminal Justice curriculum (CoCJE.) The study utilized learning feedback diaries to document and analyze the activities during their OJT experiences, coding them to determine the frequency of each activity. The researchers used documentary analysis to gather data from the respondents. The study's respondents are department graduates from the batch year 2022-2023 using their submitted learning diary for data gathering. The learning feedback diary of criminology graduates revealed that of all the corresponding themes that ILO consists of, letter H has the highest frequency of 705 or “Prepare the students for careers in crime prevention, law, enforcement, scientific crime detection, correctional administration, public safety, and allied fields. This means that the above themes scored high and the respondents agree that the above theme corresponds to the ILO during their on-the-job training. The learning feedback diary for criminology graduates provides a comprehensive overview of On-the-Job Training activities and their alignment with Intended Learning Outcomes outlined by the COCJE. The data revealed then answered the study's research questions, particularly the prevailing theme that corresponds to the ILO and the respondents’ agreement with the intended learning outcome.
