CORRELATES OF THE IMAGE PROJECTED BY THE CRIMINOLOGY SPECIAL PROGRAM AND STAKEHOLDERS’ SATISFACTION: A BASIS FOR ENHANCE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract

Criminology student’s special programs play a vital role in preparing future professionals in the field of criminal justice. It has a big impact on the school at every event conducted. This program has benefits for the students; it will guide them in their future profession. For the stakeholders, it will help them implement the rules and regulations to improve and maintain peace and order during school events. Nowadays, students enrolled in criminology course and not involved in such special program possessed improper behavior because of lack of training and knowledge about the special program.  This study is all about Correlates of the Image Projected by the Criminology Special Program and Stakeholders Satisfaction. This study aims to determine the image projected by criminology special program leading to the stakeholder’s satisfaction during programs. The researcher used descriptive correlational research design using self-made questionnaire for data gathering. The researchers will be going to use a stratified sampling technique in determining the respondents. Self-made questionnaires were distributed to the three hundred sixty-seven (367) respondents of the ISAP Department. The respondents of the study were teachers and students of ISAP department. To treat the data, the researchers used statistical test the frequency count, percentage distribution, weighted mean, thematic analysis, ANOVA and regression analysis to determine the difference of the two variables. The results showed that they are very much satisfied towards the etiquette projected by the criminology special program in terms of Color Guards, Marshalls and Draw swords. Also, in the level of satisfaction in criminology special program was very much satisfied. It concluded that there is a significant difference in the assessment of the respondents on the image projected by the criminology program. There is also a significant difference on the satisfaction on the special program when grouped according to variable. Further, that there is a significant relationship on the project image to their level of satisfaction. Based on the results, researchers arrived to a conclusion and proposed recommendations for the enhancement of program implementation.
