Abstract

The embodiment of graduate attributes and core values refers to the integration of fundamental traits and ideas that graduates of a certain educational level, usually the undergraduate or graduate level, should have. These qualities and characteristics include critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, leadership, ethical conduct, social responsibility, cultural sensitivity, and lifelong learning. The process by which students integrate these qualities and beliefs and use them in their personal and professional lives is referred to as embodiment. A study using quantitative correlational research was conducted on 50 BSBA graduates from the International School of Asia and the Pacific to determine if they embody the graduate attributes and core values. The statistical methods used were frequency count and percentage distribution, weighted mean, Welch’s test, and Pearson’s correlation matrix. The majority of the respondents were female graduates ranging in age from 23 to 25 years old. The study found that age is significantly related to being a role model, a research enthusiast, an exceptional professional, and altruism. However, all the other variables have no significant relationship to the other profile variables of the respondents. Based on the data and results of the research, it has been concluded that the BSBA graduates of the International School of Asia and the Pacific embody the graduate attributes and ISAP core values. It is recommended that the institution critically examine how they define these graduate attributes and core values to help students truly understand them. They should also develop detailed plans on how to integrate them into the school’s curriculum.
