EMPLOYMENT STATUS OF THE BSTM GRADUATES OF BATCH 2019 -2022 IN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

This study focuses on the Employment Status of the BSTM graduates in Batch 2019-2022 in International School of Asia and the Pacific. The study is a qualitative descriptive convenience design that gives the necessary data in a systematic way based on the sample data gathered. The respondents of this study was based on the employment status of the BSTM Graduates in batch 2019-2022 in International School of Asia and the Pacific. There are 121 BSTM graduates from this period served as respondents, selected through convenience sampling. Data was collected using a survey questionnaire administered through Google form. The questionnaire, adapt from Borromeo et al. (2020), was semi-structured. Analytical methods such as Frequency Count, Percentage Distribution, Weighed Mean, and Frequency Count with rank were employed. As interpretation of the gathered data, indicate that the majority of respondents were female young adults, single, of Christian Catholic and college graduate. Most respondents reported being presently employed, with agreement on the nature and location of their employment, as well as their current position. Strong agreement was observed regarding their skills in communication, human relations, entrepreneurship, information technology, problem solving and critical thinking. Additionally, honesty and respect were identified as significant work-related values contributing to their current jobs. Respondents also strongly agreed on the influence of school related factors, particularly the general education program and professional subjects on job placement. Recommendation includes actively pursuing job opportunities through resume submission, attending job fairs, utilizing online job portals and diligently participating in interviews as strategies for securing employment.
